Guide to...Aylesbury

This weekend sees BSSK return to Aylesbury.

Aylesbury is a historic town that can trace it's history back to 650BC through the remains of an Iron Age hill fort.

It has a vibrant community with lots on over the year and plenty of places for some retail therapy!

The Gateway Conference Centre is situated on the junction of the ring road and the A41 north out of Aylesbury, it's a modern and unique venue.

Angie visited last week and was delighted with the light bright space that they call "The Street" which is where our event will be held.  It looks stunning and just the spot for our return! It has a cafe, which has just changed management and looks great, it will be open for both days.

We have a great line up with lots of different stalls, our childrens' Treasure Hunt, free car parking, free talks and workshops.

Trip Advisor has 144 restaurants listed for Aylesbury so plenty of choice if you're staying over for both days.

It's going to be a great weekend.

26th and 27th April, 10am till 5pm.  Hope to see you there!

The Balance Procedure

This site explains what the Balance Procedure is and how we can use it to reconnect with our spiritual source and regain our inner guidance.  The site has links to the shop, workshops and practitioners but also the blog shows us the Balance Procedure in action.

More to Life Magazine

We've all seen this great magazine at the shows, and while it's lovely to flick through a mag sometimes it's nice to have a little look on the web.  Not only does it have the content of the magazine but there is also the More to Life TV on offer.

Zentangle

Zentangles, like mandalas are a fun way to get creative and arty easily.  Like mandalas they have a medititive joy about them.  It's a great introduction to an absorbing hobby.

Weekend Reads

Happy weekend!

We've got a real mixed bag of sites to have a look at this weekend, hope you find something interesting.

Stephanie Eusebi

Stephanie describes her site as being about nutrition and wellbeing.  She has some fantastic recipes on her site.  Gluten free, healthy and absolutely delicious.  Just the thing for treating yourself to this weekend!

Crescendoh

Jenny Doh's website is essentially an art blog.  It does have a slight twist though.  There are the usual art projects and recipes - and some not so usual ones as well.  She also has a lot of readers stories and curator stories that are very inspirational, funny and moving.

Event Update

We'd like to thank everyone that made the Monastery event so special this weekend!

From the exhibitors to the speakers to the visitors, you all made this event so wonderful.  The feedback we've had has been great.  Lots of you have said that the energy was amazing and uplifting.  It was a busy show and we're thrilled people have got so much out of it.

Our next show is Aylesbury on 26th and 27th of this month.  As some of you know we did have a show there a few years back until the venue was demolished.  It's great to be back in that part of the country, it's our most southerly show and we can't wait to be back.

It promises to be a great return with 65 stands and our usual features.  Hope to see you there!
