Chester Information

Some information for those of you going to the Chester event who are using SatNav.  You need to pop Greyfriars, Chester into your Satnav rather than the postcode to get the right directions.  Some Satnavs are sending people to the wrong side of the course if the postcode is used.

Don't forget to tell the car park attendant you are there for the BSSK event and he won't charge you for parking!

Also the Race for Life is leaving from the Race Course at approx 10am on Sunday.  It should be done by 10-10:30 so shouldn't affect visitors after then.

Nottingham Updates

Back in Nottingham for the first time in 10 years!

We'd love Nottingham to be a regular event so we need a lot of visitors to make it viable.  Spread the word for us, lol ;)

We have the full list of exhibitors and speakers on the website click here so here's just a few bits of extra information.

Refreshments – just light refreshments on sale – tea/coffee, cakes, that sort of thing.  Those of you with special dietary needs might be best bringing a snack with you.


Parking is free in the Brian Clough Car Park, which is off Sacrrington Road, on  Lady Bay Bridge. There is a sign that says ‘Environment Agency’, turn in there and the car park is dead ahead.  The postcode is  NG2 5FA. But my SatNav took me to the wrong side of the bridge, so better to set it for Scarrington Road.  Once in the car park, walk as far right as possible towards the river.  The building facing the river is the Pitch Diner, which is where we are.

Nottingham event is now fully booked and we are running a waiting list for spaces.  We need a couple of volunteers for Friday afternoon and evening and for early Saturday, to help with the unloading of vehicles and transporting things up stairs.  It is limited waiting per vehicle unloading, so we need to get them empty as quickly as possible.  Any help anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Aylesbury Update

Update on the Aylesbury event this weekend.

There is a change of talk on saturday afternoon.

At 3.30 on Saturday Crystal Carol was doing a talk on Crystal Grids, now that slot will be Dr Gefei Wu's talk "How to deal with Stress"


Stress is caused by an imbalance in internal energy and can result in physical illness. Audiowave Therapy diagnoses the imbalance, and finds a solution to bring you back into balance. Dr Gefei Wu explains more.

Morning to all our lovely readers,

just a few little bits of news this week before we continue with our new features tomorrow.  We've already had our Weekend Reads feature start and tomorrow will see the start of our complementary therapy "In Focus" feature.  But first...


Manchester guide goes to print!  5 little words that cover 62 hours of work!  End result, a weekend of wonderful exhibition stands and 66 different talks/workshops – over HALF of them FREE!  The Manchester event goes live on the website on 23rd February.



The Newark guides went to post on Monday, so they will hit the doormats any day now!


David Wells has confirmed his attendance at Manchester in October, which is fantastic.


Jacky Newcomb is doing a 90 minute workshop on Archangels and meeting your Archangel guide at Manchester on Sat, 5th April – price £10 – get in quick when booking opens on 23/02
