Weekend Reads

Morning,

welcome to our first regular feature!  Starting off with some easy reading today, lol.

Every Friday we are going to post links to some other blogs and websites that the BSSK team love. There's been much debate recently about the internet and how good/bad it can be.  The scaremongers like to show us it's full of pockets of nastiness and conspiracies and bullying.  We know that element exists but we believe it's mostly a force for good and we're going to prove it...

We don't intend to theme the Weekend Reads.  It's going to be a random mix that we found interesting and relevant to us, so hopefully everyone should find something they like.

The Happiness Project

Gretchen Rubin is a New York based writer who decided that while not unhappy, she wondered if she could increase her happiness levels.  Is it possible to make yourself happier?  Her blog turned into a best selling book which, while seeming self-indulgent was actually a great read and an interesting self-help book.  Lots of fun and inspiring too.

Philosophy for Life

Jules Evans suffered an emotional crisis that he was rescued from by ancient Philosophy.  Can ideas invented and developed over 2,000 years ago help us today?  A more challenging blog but an amazing read.

Liz Lamoreux

A creative journey to your inner self.  Liz hosts creative retreats and workshops in what she describes as "inner Excavation"  exploring your inner self through art and creativity.  She has plenty of online tools and a lively blog.

Kristy Hodges

Serendipity Crystals is an amazing website, packed with information and crystals, energy work and psychic development.  A lively blog that is always so up-beat it's hard to not be filled with enthusiasm.

Hope you enjoy some of these blogs, let us know if you did!
